I have been passionate about photography since I was 14 years old when my school added a darkroom to its art department. My love for art only grew from there, and with the support of my parents, who bought me my first professional camera and built me a darkroom at home, I was able to fully embrace my passion.
Before becoming a photographer, I worked as a chef and served in the Royal Navy, travelling the world. Although I continued to work in the culinary industry after leaving the Armed Forces, my love for photography eventually led me to pursue it as a full-time profession.
I am based in the beautiful town of Saxmundham in Suffolk, UK, and my photography is primarily focused on capturing genuine, candid human emotion through portraits. I have honed my skills through years of practice, including photographing my own son as he grew up. I also have a strong interest in using technology and visual editing to enhance my work.
I am dedicated to my craft and strive to produce images that truly reflect the personalities of my subjects. Please take a look at my portfolio and my regularly updated blog to see my latest work and get a behind-the-scenes look at my process.
