I enjoy working with models of all experience levels, including beginners with potential, on TFP shoots.
As well as portraits, I'm keen to explore several other themes. Shooting dance and gymnastic poses in the natural or urban environment appeals enormously.
Other ideas I'd like to develop include:-
the use of long, flowing fabrics;
distorted or fractured beauty i.e. shooting partly through cracked glass, foliage, metal grids etc;
shooting in rain and/or strong wind;
powerful emotions;
flexible and unlikely poses;
cosplay;
vintage clothes and props of any era.
If you're a model, MUA or stylist who has an idea I haven't listed, don't hesitate to get in touch as I'm open to suggestions and always willing to experiment - who knows what we may come up with!
For the right person and project, I'm prepared to travel throughout southern England, south Wales and the midlands, or contribute to your expenses. Unobtrusive chaperones are welcome.
Feel free to ask any questions.
David.
REFERENCES FROM NON-MAD COW MODELS (will send link to originals if requested):-
Kaija (under 18. Chaperoned by step-dad, reference from her mother) - "I'm so glad you got some good photos. Kaija really enjoyed herself. I was a little worried she wouldn't relax into the shoot without her sister or I there but I think you really made her feel at ease and I am so grateful for that. I like so many of the photos you may have to limit me."
Karina - "He's a really great and excellent photographer with perfect equipment. He knew what he wanted to see from the beginning. The shooting was fun and I felt good. Absolutely recommended!"
