Having just photographed the very beautiful and natural looking model Victoria Rogers with the mimimum of eye makeup and only a small amount of powder, to stop shine, I'd just like to say that every model (and photographer) ought to include an unmade up image so we can see what you really look like in the flesh!
As an actor and model (and photographer) I'm familiar with the great delight of preparing for a show by cleaning my skin and studying my face in the mirror and changing my face with makeup and love becoming this 'other' person, BUT, it is also useful to have natural everyday shots/performances too!
Dare I suggest that only those with a good natural blemish free skin and exquisite bone structure, the perfect natural figure and immaculate well proportioned hands and feet will ever do well in modelling?
Makeup to me is like wearing a mask and I can often see the join at the neck, also when unmadeup hands are held up to the face the contrasting skin colour can throw the image out of balance.
What do you think?
