I am looking for some advice from some of the more seasoned (that doesn't mean old, just experienced) photographers. I have a pretty powerful PC but I find it is struggling when processing pictures. I tend not to do too much processing as I like the picture to be fairly reflective of the model's true looks including any minor defects they may have. the current pc is an i5 intel processor with 4G ram and a good spec graphic.
I am due an upgrade so is it best to go for an iMac or really heavy duty laptop/PC. I know a lot of the media firms I have sold to in the past tend to use Apples.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
