Models often take great care in doing their hair and facial makeup but seem to forget about their hands and feet.
Too often I get a model with beautifully made up eyes and a pancake makeup on their face with a lot of blusher and it makes them look like a mask on top of their pale body toning. Then once they put a hand to their face or hair the difference in skin tone can becomes obvious.
Fingernails and toenails for me need to be the same colour and sympathetic to the clothes , or lack of, and modelling style and matching each other.
Too often blemishes and bruises are ignored too and it only needs a long look by the model in a full length mirror after showering to tone them down a bit, even if they can't be magicked away!.
It is so refreshing to find models that think ahead and come prepared.
Does anybody else have this problem, or is it only me?
I suppose the answer is to team up with an MUA or only book very experienced models, or models who bring their own MUA, but it does work out expensive and problematic getting 3 people to agree aon a time place and date, it's difficult enough to get 2 to do that! Just had 2 cancellations in 2 days! Again!
