Is this a record?

its been around 8 months since i started using sites such as this one and 3 other similar well known sites.ive contacted around 140 "models".my approaches have always been polite.well-mannered,professional and generous.always offer to pay travel costs and wherever possible reasonable rates for the model.ive had around 25 replies.a third werent interested.the rest entered into correspondance...mostly long and protracted.ive had 2 shoots...both of which i paid the models.the rest either didnt show-up,stopped answering messages or found an excuse to cancel at almost the last minute.there are models online as we speak that havent even read my messages...even when we have entered into correspondance to arrange a shoot.just what is wrong with people today?.where are common manners,politeness and a desire to actually do something with their lives gone?.ive had good feedback from the 2 shoots.ive also done good shoots with models not on any sites..i.e ive arranged them independantly.do people simply use sites like this..(.which i have nothing but praise for james !!)as an extention of facebook?.grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
