There are times photographers cant help but use it, and lets be honest at times the results leave a lot to be desired. The main problem being the harsh shadows that it creates.
I fell over the guy below, not literally I might add, and have used this technique with some great results. It's cheap and it works. I hope it's of help to those who are unaware of this bit of kit.
