From 1am tonight for approximately 2 hours (possibly an hour or two longer) the site will be down.
Over the past few months the hosting company has been building an all new data centre in Slough. Tonight is the night of the big migration, all of the server equipment, storage, and network hardware will be packed up and moved over there, starting at 1am.
They've opted for one big move rather than itty bitty little moves so that any downtime comes in one chunk tonight, rather than over a period of a few days.
It's all been planned out meticulously - so we should be back up around 3am :)
