Just recently i spoke to a model who i will not name from this site,she told me she wanted images and had paid out a lot of money for images..which to be honest is not really essential for any model to pay 100's£s for images..by being selective in who you work with you can over a short period of time get those images again i will not mention any names but the company this model had been to and paid is to be honest very well known by anyone thats been in this industry for any length of time but im glad to say they have now been closed down however as one closes another 12 of them opens up because girls are so desperate to become a model they are willing to pay so much money for images.
I have seen some of these images from these get rich quick places and to be honest some of them look as though they have been taken on a camera phone..no respectable angency will ever ask for money up front regardless of if you have a portfolio or not ..any decent agency will arrange your own photoshoot and there will not be any charge for it either..so how do they actually make money from you if they do not charge you? easy by finding you work and taking a percentage of those earnings.
Here is a site that every model should have by her side its a site that knows 99% of the scams and gives you good advice on arranging shoots and what to expect ect aswell as giving you a list of those bad ones to avoid they also give a list of the good ones too.
