Seems to me a lot of folks have issues with BBCode, could the icons be implemented into the reply box and on the messages / group chat ? - OR possibly appear when someone presses the [ key ? - perhaps a popup asking what it is they want to show/link/ etc ? pasting the example line into the post for users to fill in the blank bits. ?
