Pseudo Code Upload Criteria Checkboxes ?

A sort of IF / THEN action statement during upload in addition to the size and jpg format requirement.

We have talked about quality control & categorization before, it never ends well, usually because it's someone else making a judgement on an image. But - if people had to choose the quality level themselves... they wouldn't feel judged, the image becomes properly and accurately assigned, and people can choose what they want to see in the new uploads. Honestly answering a few basic questions will enable the creation of a filter system everyone can use. Images that fall outside the rules get deleted before they appear, but I believe a certain criteria would help focus the sites uploads and improve the overall experience people have here, it may well also encourage new signups. All the functions are in place, we just need to attract the right people to the site.

- Does the image contain open leg, genetalia, open or errect genetalia ? - Mull of Kintyre rule etc
[Y] - Mark adult (review by admin, before upload is accepted)
[N] - (Pass image for general upload)

- Has it been taken for creative reasons, or just for the sake of it ?
[Sake] - Mark (review by admin, before upload is accepted) Display confirm box "Yes, I want to Embarrass Myself"
[Creative Shot] - (Pass image for general upload)

- Is it flattering to those involved ? - Images should sell the skills of all involved to those viewing
[Y] - Pass for general upload.
[N] - Pass to admin for review before allowing on site.

- Is it a flattly lit generic shot in your opinion ?
[Y] - Suggest requesting assistance in creative lighting technique (use the forum), Allow upload
[N] - Pass for general upload

- Is it blurred ?
[N] - Pass for general upload
[Y] - Display 2nd Y/N. "On Purpose ?" [ Y (Creative) / N (slow shutter) ] - Do not allow upload


Which magazine could you see your image fitting in, ideally ? - Represents a broad spectrum

NB: A portfolio account is NOT Dropbox or some kind of cloud hard drive. (provide affilliate links to cloud hard drives)
- Do NOT upload a squillion minor variations of one image. Best to cherrypick one or two really nice ones from the set and upload those. If it doesnt show off your skills, talent and doesn't sell 'you' to others. Don't upload it.

Ok, this could well be a tad OTT, but if the site is to shine, it really needs this or something like this to be in place if there is no moderation team. I feel the site is getting out of hand, and currently attracting both suitable and unsuitable images, but mainly the latter. If such a system is in place, the report button gets used less. And if someone circumvents the process, and is reported, discovered, it's flagged and delt with appropriately.

Too much BLBP or not enough ? Time to put up, or stop browbeating :) - Choose your destiny ! Mortals...
