Had the pleasure of working with new girl, the lovely @PaulaSoares the other day. Her olive skin and her fabulous hourglass figure made me think that it would be fun to try her in the role of a vintage corsetry model. We tried to set this image in about 1962 and give it a slightly continental look. This also gave me an excuse to back-light her lovely rich thick hair, and to blow it about violently with our 40cm fan
Bit of background. Back in the late 1950s and early 1960's foundationwear manufacturers often chose fit young women to model their wares and display the flexibility of these intrinsically quite restrictive garments. The joke at the time was that "girdles always look best on girls that don't actually need them". Well Paula played the part beautifully.
