Opened in February 2018 the Art Asylum Reloaded Photo Studio carries on from the previous Art Asylum Photo Studio which was based in the Brewery Quay in Weymouth.

The old studio was run by Sean Hepburn and had built a reputation of being a great and quirky studio which offered fantastic opportunities for creatives.

The new studio has now relocated into an old coach house in Crescent Street in Weymouth and offers a 30' x 18' studio with a white curved infinity wall at one end and many quirky bare walls, windows and features to shoot against.

There is also an additional natural light space room which is approximately 15' x 18' with windows on one side and is laid out as a bedroom set. Also has bare floorboards wooden panelling and bare brick walls.

The studio is now run by Steve Cook of RAWing Waves Photography and is fully equipped with new studio lighting, modifiers etc

The studio now has a 27" iMac linked to a wall mounted 42" screen for tethered shooting , a separate changing room for models.

There are also various studio hour packages such as 10 hours, 15 hours 20 hours etc that can be purchased and used within a year that give you the chance to spread the costs of your shoots as these packages are at a reduced rate, contact us for more details.

The studio is quickly gain a reputation as it offers shooting time within the Weymouth area at a cost of £25 per hour, half day (4 hours) £85, day rate (8 hours) £160 and also has plans for regular model shooting days and tuition days. The space has a pro studio with a huge white infinity wall and a changing room for models

Available equipment is as follows: 2 x Pixapro Godox Citi 600w Flash heads with HSS, 3 x Pixapro Godox 600W Flash Heads, 3 x Pixapro Godox Lumi II 200w Flash heads, 18" Neewer Ringlight, 2 x 90cm x 60cm strip softboxes with grids, 2 x 35cm x 160cm strip softboxes with grids, 2 x 100cm square softboxes with grids, 42cm Beauty Dish with grid, 2 x Snoots with honeycomb grid and 5 piece colour filter kit, Wireless Flash Triggers and receivers, 2 x Reflectors with barndoors and coloured gels, Black drop and green screen backdrop with stands, Katebackdrop Rusty Portrait, Tripod, continuous LED lighting panles and many other items including props and and extensive wardrobe of clothing and shoes.

Booking Terms:- 1. If the customer cancels a confirmed booking with less than 48 hours notice before the hire period starts, 50% of the full hire rate will apply. 2. If the customer cancels a confirmed booking with less than 12 hours notice before the hire period starts, 100% of the hire rate will apply.
