Since a young age, I've had a knack for "people photography." As an adult, I completed a major in communications and a Master's degree in Media Studies. Both degrees included learning technical aspects of photography. Since, I have had roles as a photography instructor, an art instructor and a model scout/photographer. For the last few years, and especially during the pandemic, I have backed away from the model work but I have truly missed it. Over the years, I have watched a few models I have captured do great things in the modeling world. Though I haven't done a good job of keeping tabs on all my clients, I have run into them on social media sites and other photographer's sites. I feel I'm best at taking a model to the next level by creating a comfort level for the shoot. There's nothing special I do, really, I just try to be a nice guy, joke around a lot with my model and create a comfortable setting. I don't charge for my first session for that reason. It takes time to get comfortable with a new photographer. Sometimes I'm willing to pay a model, depending on circumstances. Just ask and let's give it a go! Nothing ventured, nothing gained!
