Born in Zimbabwe, Jason Wharam discovered a talent and passion for photography whilst working as a professional safari guide.Being in such beautiful and breath taking surroundings on a daily basis allowed Jason to develop his unique style. His experience and knowledge of the animals he encounters allows him to get very close to his subjects.
As well as photographing the wilds of Africa, Jason also started to photograph domestic animals. Again, his understanding of animals always allows him to capture the character of the individual animal.
The next progression was on to people; photographing weddings, christenings and other family events. This is an area Jason is now developing further.
His relocation to the UK has allowed further development in event photography. He has attended the Red Bull Empire of Dirt 2012 and the Royal Windsor Horse Show this year and hopes to do more large events.
