I am a full time self employed professional photographer with 50 years experience. I am based near Eastbourne in Sussex and I specialize in Burlesque/boudoir/fashion/event photography, but also cover commercial and P.R. assignments as well.
I am a life member of the National Union of Journalists having worked freelance as a photographer in Sussex for many years, before taking a full time post on the Brighton Evening Argus in the 1980's. This led to a becoming a staff photographer on the Manchester Evening News, after winning the "photographer of the year" award at "The Southern Press, Radio and Television Awards" in 1983. I also have three "Ilford Awards" hanging on my wall.
After a round of redundancies at the M.E.N. in 1996, I moved back south.
I am fully trained as a commercial/Industrial/P.R. and wedding photographer, with some 1,400 weddings under my belt, to date. So I can honestly say "I've been there, done that"!
I always have a head full of new ideas that I want to turn into an image for my folio, so will do the occasional "Time For Print" shoot with a model, who would also benefit from having something different to put into their portfolio.
I also have a current 'Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service' certificate (CRB check) covering my work as a STEM Ambassador.
