Whilst most of my experience as a  photographer has been as an amateur, I have had a degree of success as a freelance press snapper and also sold some images. I occasionally enter images that I particularly like in photographic salons and exhibitions with reasonable results. People try to pigeonhole photography into specific genres. I'm afraid I don't play by those rules. I like to produce images that capture an essence and  provoke an emotional response, even if that is disturbing. If I take a typical portrait image, you can reckon that it will be combined with other elements. A few of my shots here are composites, some better than others in that regard. I'm always looking for interesting faces and figures to capture. I'm not overly interested in the nude/erotic/glamour aspects unless I have a specific composite end product in mind.
