Hi, I'm Sam. I shoot cosplay, fashion and boudoir from my base in Bedfordshire, chasing cinematic light and a clean editorial finish. The goal is always the same: images that stop a scroll and still look good framed on a wall. My work has been published internationally, including in Dominante and there's plenty more on my Instagram, which is also my preferred place for collabs.

How I work

Good shoots are planned shoots. Before the day we'll build a shared Pinterest board and agree the vision together, so the only surprises on set are the happy accidents. During the session you'll see back-of-camera previews throughout and we'll refine poses and expressions as we go, rather than you finding out what worked three days later. The set stays professional, safe and unhurried. Your comfort matters more than the clock, always.

And whoever's paying, I like shoots to be collaborative. Some of my favourite frames started as someone else's idea thrown out mid-shoot, so bring yours. Everyone on set gets a voice.

What I shoot

Cosplay is where the storytelling happens for me. I actually know the source material, so portraits get built around who the character is, not just what the costume looks like. If you've spent months on a build, it deserves better than a convention hallway.

Fashion is clean modern editorial with a focus on movement and silhouette. One of my favourite things in the world to shoot is a strong silhouette, sometimes stark black and white, sometimes with a splash of colour cutting through.

Boudoir is relaxed, shot at your pace and shaped around what you want from it, not a template. You set the tone; I handle the light.

Working together

For cosplay I shoot paid or TFP only. For fashion and boudoir I'm open to pretty much anything, so if you've got an idea, pitch it. Reliability and clear communication matter to me more than anything else. If you have a well-developed character concept or a project that needs a technical creative partner, I'd love to hear from you.

My availability is weekends and evenings.

Images

As a default I'm happy to share edited images after the shoot, provided they're used for social media and portfolios rather than being sold. If you need something beyond that, just ask and we'll sort it before the day.
