Stan Keetley's family home was a gallery of his fathers fine art paintings of female nudes and as such grew up learning a different perspective on the naked female form.
Stans' work captures the essence of the model through raw expression of imagination and romantic mystery.

The very notion that a 'Mainstream media standard look' is required in order to appear erotic is contrary to the nature of eroticism. In my mind, true beauty is being alive & being free, with unintimidated expression of a personality! Therein lies strength, majesty, authority and self identity, therein lies the devine erotic magnificence.

Introducing real women to the world of the erotic and asking them to express themselves in this deeply personal way, provides a fresh and honest look into the sexuality of the modern woman's mind. 
Using a Nikon DSLR to review images and settle the model into the shoot, his main equipment is a medium format Rolleicord camera where he attempts to capture the final image in a format as close to the organic analogue reality in the shoot as possible.

The sincere honesty we share with ourselves when experiencing the erotic, touches the divine, base elements of our being. I hope my art inspires the divine element that is within all those who experience it, the model, the viewer and me.
