This was my first group shoot as a model at WN1 studio. I had a fantastic experience Karen made feel welcome with cups of tea ; the studio was well equipped with lighting and props.
The team of photographers I was was working on the day where amazing and worked well as a team. Hope to shoot again in the future!

My model no showed, but Karen has nothing but praise and appreciation for the class and understanding she showed during the whole sorry debacle
Had an amazing very productive shoot today at WN1 Studios! Karen was there early and had all the rooms warmed up with the heaters. We (me and my Italian model!) were left to get on with our shoot in which we made full use of the excellent equipment and sets/rooms and props! I'll definitely visit again for future shoots, great place and great value for money too!!! Steve2259....
Great studio, Karen was very welcoming and friendly. Very good facilities, hoping to use them again in the future.
Arrived at WN1 Studio and was greeted by the lovely Karen who had the kettle on and made us coffee, she then showed us around the various sets in the studio. A great array of lighting sets and natural light, and plenty of props available, in the sets, although on this visit, due to the weather we were unable to make use of the outdoor courtyard! Another visit maybe. Karen then left us in peace to get on and shoot.
A big thank you from Lady Sextasy and I, as we managed to get our entire shoot programme finished!
I would recommend the studio to all photographers and models alike.

Last night I went down to Wigan & my first group shoot at WN1. Graham was lovely, very welcoming & kept me going on a cold night with hot cups of tea. Everyone was kind and I think happy with the shoot. Judging by the back of the camera images I looked at there should be some good pictures. I'm sorry I missed meeting Karen as she had pressing duties in one of her caring rolls. Thank you all & I hope you will have me back one day

I had a fabulous second trip to WN1 Studios this week and I'm very grateful to the wonderful Graham whos talents extend far beyond making coffee! You'd be hard to find a more welcoming, professional and charming photographer to work with. The results speak for themselves.
I love the studio, equipped with all manner of wonderful sets and great natural light. The studio also offers so very much more... the exterior is great with a lovely walled yard, a beautiful tunnelled archway and all manner of great locations within a stones throw. It's easily accessible by car and public transport too, and the lovely Graham simply won't hear of it if you try and carry your own bags!
Very much looking to returning this week for my third visit within seven days.

Made my first visit to WN1 today and was looked after by Graham.
He is the perfect host with lots of brews and chocolate indulgence's that I struggled to turn down.
The studio is a work in progress but is a fantastic place to shoot in with so many options available.
I will definitely be back there.

This is the best studio i have used! I love having photoshoots here, i have been welcomed each time by karen and graham and get made lots of brews :)
I modeled for a group shoot event and all the photographers was lovely to get along with and took fab images.
There is so much you can make a set with and its all beautiful! I will be here again... and again...and again. Best studio!

Another superb day spent at WN1, this studio has everything I could ask for. Karen, Graham, Robin thank you all so much. Whether it's comms before or after, being looked after when I'm there, facilities or shooting space I can't rate them highly enough. Thank you all :-)
Today I had my first private booking at Karen & Graham's WN1 studio in Wigan. I had been before but to events. The space & feel of the studios is great set over 2 floors. Graham as ever the master of the kettle always ready to pop in when required. I understand there are new sets in the pipeline due in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
My shoot with the lovely Beckylizz was pure pleasure & to be repeated in WN1 in the near future.
I highly recommend this studio & it very friendly . & welcoming owners.

So many opportunities for different styles of shoots - superb natural light areas, great varieties in lighting modifiers - Karen, Graham and Robin are wonderful - I could easily run out of superlatives.
Whether you are a photographer just starting out or a seasoned pro WN1 can cater for your needs.

I can't praise this studio and the people behind it enough. Superb facilities, plenty of space (with the all important height) and a variety of shooting areas indoors and out.
Whether you want to utilise natural light or mix it up with studio lighting you can't fail to get great photographs.
There are plenty of parking areas nearby and the train station is just around the corner.

It was such a pleasure to meet Karen and work with her at the studio. We shot in three areas, the natural light in the stairwell is excellent, the upstairs room was enhanced with rusty corregated iron and made a nice set, and finally we shot against the black backdrop with Karen in a bright red dress with the wind machine blowing her hair.

Shot at this Studio a number of times now. I would say it's the hidden Gem of Wigan. With two fully equipped studios and props what more could a photographer wish for.

I had my second shoot at Zan Mills studio this time with KareR who owns the studio. There are now 2 separate fully equipped studios with a newly added chromakey green screen. A great facility and at £10 an hour for hire it's great value.

What a great bunch! Very welcoming constant refreshments, good back drop and changing room. Fab bunch of photographers, I had a great night and have received some great images! I look forward to my next visit! Highly recommended to all!

This is a great little studio. It is big enough for full length shots and has a good selection of background rolls with flash heads, soft boxes and triggers. There is also nice sized changing room for models equipped with a dressing table and mirror with toilets next door. At £10 an hour hire charge it has to be the best value studio hire in the north west.
absolutely love this studio, really friendly people, great relaxed atmosphere and lovely owners! also tea and biscuits! :D
I was booked for an open day at Zan Mill studio and I had fun at the shoot, the was a good number of photographers who were eager to get shots and conversations were good with a good atmosphere all round. Thank you Zan mill studios.
I am very lucky to use Zan studio and have had several shoots here and attend the Group shoots regularly. I am really impressed and cant praise the guys enough, they have helped me so much and my development is mainly down to Dave and his incredible model Karen. Superb indeed, another adventure soon . 100% from me, Love love love this place.
My first studio shoot and this was perfect; Dave couldn't have been more helpful in helping me set up lighting and props to make sure that I got the images I wanted. I will definitely be returning for more shoots and would thoroughly recommend this studio to anybody.
