Hello, I'm Steven, thank you for stopping by my profile.
I believe that Beauty is not about perfection; it's about celebrating authenticity.
I'm a semi-pro photographer interested in boudoir and portrait photography, however I am open to broaden my skills with other types of photography just get in touch with any ideas or requests. I have been into photography for over 11 years and the last year I am wanting to push myself into the world of photography, I enjoy working with people to portray themselves into an image. I shoot Nikon and have a collection of professional lenses with off camera flashes.
I post process my images with very little enhancements, mainly just corrections as I believe what the eye captures is the real image and this is my underlying principle of expressing yourself through a lens.
This is not my full time job, I am a full time engineer within the armed forces and I am looking to expand my skills to further my photography career. My growing portfolio, a vivid tableau of compelling images, testifies to this passion. When shooting, I always aim to create a haven of confidence, empowering individuals to revel in their sensuality.
As a portraitist, I go beyond faces—I unearth the untold stories that lie within, creating timeless portraits that echo with depth and authenticity. Whether you're a novice or a professional model, I bring my willingness to learn and adapt, I strive to go above and beyond to achieve the goal of producing images that show the inner beauty of the subject, empowering emotion from within. I am flexible, friendly and I am always open to listening to fresh and innovative ideas from my subjects and collaborators.
Communication is Key
When working with my subjects, I always uphold the values of courtesy, patience, and respect, creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment. The goal is to deliver a memorable experience for everyone involved, which includes fostering open communication before, during, and after shoots, providing immediate feedback, and encouraging a positive atmosphere.
Here's what I strive for:
* Offering a pleasurable and relaxed photography experience while respecting your Boundaries and comfort levels.
* Building solid and collaborative relationships with talented models, fellow photographers, and studios.
* Providing remarkable results for paid and TFP (Trade for Print) shoots.
* Maintaining transparency, encouraging you to review my references before we work together.
What am I like to work with?
I uphold a set of principles that guide all my interactions. I believe in honest and open communication, treating everyone fairly and respectfully and I never push boundaries! I encourage you to review my references prior to working with me, If you want a chaperone then that is also fine however they are not to be present or in the way of the actual shoot. I believe that collaboration is the cornerstone of success and in order to achieve the best images, it's crucial that my models and collaborators feel at ease and confident. Therefore, I work tirelessly to create a friendly environment, providing constructive feedback and ensuring clear communications at all time. This sounds so formal but in reality I am really chatty, and enjoy a good laugh, whilst creating a great atmosphere at my shoots.
I prefer outdoor and location shoots to encompass the natural light and environment, however I am open to studio and indoor photography too.
