Newly-built private photographic studio available for hire in mid-Wales, close to English border.

This private studio is 48 sq. m. (6m x 8m) and is equipped with flash (studio and portable), led and tungsten lighting as well as a range of backgrounds, set-building items and support equipment (primarily reflecting our use of Canon cameras). The studio features air conditioning, and incorporates a secure dressing room,  toilet and kitchen facilities. A shower enclosure is built into the main studio area making 'bathroom'-style shots simple to arrange. The shower area can also be curtained off to permit private use. The studio has an independent entrance, and is located within the grounds of our home - a convenient place to be, ensuring that help and support is always at hand. Since model safety is an absolute priority, the studio incorporates a 'panic alarm' system which enables assistance to be summoned in an instant.

For product photography, a large (550mm dia.), high-capacity (45kg payload), integrated turntable is available, with dedicated software permitting the creation of rotational HTML5 image sequences and videos.

Camera provision is not included in the quoted rates but can be negotiated, if required. (We believe that it leads to a better outcome, photographically, if the photographer is using his/her own camera equipment with which they are familiar.)

For rural, outdoor shoots to complete a varied photographic day, this is a beautiful area with discreet locations around almost every corner. There is ample free parking available here on-site and good B & Bs abound close by.

The studio owner will be on hand to assist with setting up lighting equipment, backgrounds, sets etc. and anything else needed to help your day go smoothly.

For novice photographers (and models) or those new to studio working I am happy to provide help, guidance and tuition, as required.

Current hire rates are:-

£10 per hour 

£30 per half day (4 hours; either 09h00 - 13h00; or 14h00 - 18h00 unless otherwise agreed.)

£50 per full day (8 hours; 09h00 - 17h00 unless otherwise agreed.)

Kitchen facilities with tea, coffee, milk and sugar provided (biccies too, on a good day! ;-)) without charge.
