There has been much said in the forums about new models and what they often expect when starting out. So this has got me thinking (god i can feel this turning into a rant already) .... that it might be good and interesting to hear from the models stand point; both new and established models.
As a new model what are your expectations when entering into the industry?
Do you expect to find work straight away?
What kind of work are you ideally looking for?
Did what you started out shooting / looking to do change to what you are shooting now?
Do you expect to be paid, if so - how much?
Do you see TF shoot offers as a good or bad thing?
What kind of help or advice would you find useful?
Do you think there is enough help and advice out there for those starting out?
What do you see as the downsides to being a new model?
You don't have to answer these specific questions, they are just examples. But it would be good to hear what you think as a new model or somebody that's maybe now an established model that looking back on her early days.
