I had a photographer reply to one of my castings saying he had a model who was interested. I asked him to point me in the direction of her portfolio, either on here or another model site. Doesn't have one he said. So I asked if he could put me in touch by either giving me her e-mail address or giving her my e-mail address.. He refused saying he preferred to know the details of the shoot and what the rate was first. I simply said I don't deal with 3rd parties and left it at that, I found another model anyway. It's possible she has asked him to vet potential photographers but the fact that he approached me seems a bit strange and his refusal to put me in touch with the model has cost her a potential paid shoot.
It annoys me when this happens, what do others think? Am I wrong to be annoyed about this?
