It's a little over a year now since I first began hiring models for photography. I began by advertising with Gumtree, but soon looked at model sites. My experiences are quite telling and I wonder if any togs or models want to contribute with their experiences?
I was rejected by Net-models and PureStorm, have had no replies from any models contacted through PurplePort or ModelMayhem and only MadCowModels has proved at all worthwhile.
I might be biased as a result, but this site is the best to use; ModelMayhem simply leaves me with lots of open browser windows and PurplePort is the very definition of poor navigation.
The problem is that if a model is not represented on this site, she won't get my bookings. I've had a look at other sites, but by their general appearance I have been put off. And the 'adult' sites are simply awful.
