something that i have been pondering for quite a while is the fact that several model genres available for work on the site would contain images that are not permitted to be posted on the site.so,would it not be better to remove these genres completely? this could easily clear up the occasional confusion there has been with photographers contacting models regarding shoot levels and some models unsure which genres they are advertising to work at.the site descriptions are excellent of course and i assume we all know or should know what is and what isnt permitted to be displayed on the site.we should also know what is and isnt appropriate information to be included in castings.however a couple of recent castings ive observed has been well worded but thinly disguised adverts for porn shoots.i.e....b/g hard still or video.
non members viewing the site are able to view castings and visit the level descriptions.i have often invited potential models to visit my profile on here to see what goes on and am very proud to have work displayed on madcow.its THE best site and without wishing to embarrass james is run superbly.
i suspect however ive lost a few shoots whereby some of those potential models have got cold feet about having images displayed on the internet per se,but ive also had a couple of observations about these sites in general and a feeling of discomfort with some of the work levels available through
castings.to be perfectly honest id feel uncomfortable inviting my parents or some friends to have a look, just in case they got the wrong idea.
there was a member that recently enquired in a thread about inappropriate images being uploaded and obviously james dealt with it,but some people do try and push the envelope.this is sadly sometimes the case with image comments...there is some thinly disguised leering going on now and then.this make me uncomfortable.
im not a prude or a campaigner,or indeed naive.
i just wonder what other people feel on this subject?
