Could the website have a simple algorithm that automatically deletes profiles where there has been no log in for 6 months, or a 0% response rate after 3 months?
I find it increasingly annoying that I see great images appearing in various sections of the site and searches to then go through to the profile with the intention of offering work to suddenly see "joined 2 years ago, last logged in 2 years ago". It would be fantastic for busy photographers like myself to just not have these time wasters there. It has to also benefit Madcow who would have a much simpler and active database.
