Having done a few shoots with new models over the years, I thought I would put this out for discussion as I find that a lot of people are unsure of the definition of glamour. For a lot it means breasts out, when in fact that should be deemed topless. For others it is Nuts, Zoo, FHM but they still don't know how to explain it.
I personally have found the following to be the best definition:
'Fashion is about the outfit and Glamour is about the model'
The lines, however, can get blurred as for example the iconic image of Marilyn Monroe's blowing dress - to me that could either be about the dress or it could be glamour, just depends on whether you are looking at the model more or the dress more.
