I've been chatting with a newby, with the usual handful of "meh " selfies..., about a TFP. She lists nude and erotic in her levels, but suffice to say, she hasn't got any on her port.... She asked me if she shot TFP, would I expect to be shooting nudes, to which I replied, sure, why not? You need those levels in your port as much as everything else! She replied giving me some baloney about how her "self-respect" meant she would only shoot nudes for money...
This attitude, which I've encountered once or twice before, leaves me a tad mystified! I certainly wouldn't pay to shoot a newby at these levels without knowing what she looked like naked, and I doubt other good photographers would either..... I am sure some dubious hack will pay her for the distinction of being "the first" but as I am sure the resulting pictures are likely to be poor, I am left wondering where that leaves her "self respect"?
