I'm a British Creative Director, storyteller and photographer based in Budapest. I've spent over 25 years working in advertising around the world, creating campaigns for global brands. Photography has become my creative escape, combining my love of storytelling, fashion, beautiful locations and working with interesting people.
This Modelfolio profile exists for one reason.
To find models who would like to collaborate on my photography trips to Croatia.
Around 3–5 times a year I rent a beautiful villa or apartment on the Croatian coast, usually around Split or Zadar, and spend a week shooting in some of the most stunning locations Europe has to offer.
Unlike many portfolio shoots that are squeezed into one long day, I prefer to work slowly.
We'll usually shoot for around 6–8 hours across the entire week, leaving plenty of time to relax, explore Croatia, enjoy great food and simply get to know each other.
I've found the best photographs never happen in the first hour.
They happen once trust has been built.
As confidence grows, the images naturally become more relaxed, more authentic and far more interesting.
Every winter I build an entirely new wardrobe specifically for these trips. I source clothes from brands such as ASOS, SHEIN and Missguided, alongside a huge collection of shoes, hats, jewellery, accessories, lingerie, swimwear and bikinis to create a wide variety of looks throughout the week.
The shoots can include fashion, lifestyle, swimwear, lingerie and, for models who are experienced and comfortable with it, implied or fine art nude photography on some of Croatia's beautiful beaches. Every shoot is collaborative, with boundaries agreed beforehand and respected throughout.
Everything is Included
I want the week to feel like a creative holiday rather than a job.
That means I cover everything, including:
Return flights (normally into Split or Zadar)
Your agreed modelling fee
Beautiful private accommodation
Your own private bedroom
Your own private bathroom
All transport during the trip
Breakfasts, lunches and dinners
Drinks and wine with dinner if you'd like it
Even the sun cream!
All you need to do is turn up and enjoy the experience.
If you'd like to bring a friend or chaperone, they are more than welcome. I want everyone to feel completely comfortable throughout the trip.
Equally, if you decide you'd like to arrange shoots with other photographers while you're in Croatia, that's absolutely fine too. It's your trip as much as mine, and if it helps you build your portfolio while you're there, I'm happy for you to make the most of it.
For me, photography isn't about rushing through hundreds of poses.
It's about creating an environment where people feel relaxed enough to be themselves.
That's when the magic happens.
