I am absolutely delighted with these photos,a pleasure as always to work with Waistit. I really appreciate the mirror being there so I can see exactly how the pose is coming across in the camera. Time always flies, I very much enjoy working with them and look forward to our next shoot. Waistit have been great with giving me clear supportive feedback with piecing costumes together so they will look their best on camera and achieve that desired hourglass shape, and really helpful constructive feedback for posing and positioning.I am working especially on leg-positioning and slowing down movement to capture the image. I always feel happy,very comfortable with them and doing cabaret was lots of fun. Waistit are great about blending creative ideas so everyone gets to chip in with their ideas. I really appreciate seeing Betty Paige’s swimwear photos on the screen for inspiration and it gave me a good idea of what Waistit’s vision was for the shoot. Waistit have a nice selection of vintage props which is that cherry on top of the cake for the end-result with hand-positioning and being true to the time period.The studio has a lovely selection of base-piece shapewear, corsetry, footwear and swimwear costumes for layering under the outfits I bring to the shoot and immaculate changing room facility.I have been inspired by shapewear base-pieces to invest in for creating multiple,different seamless silhouette looks.Big thank you to Waistit for writing these really lovely blog posts and for letting me have first pick of the photos I like best and for featuring the photos we both like from the shoot in them, thank you very much for all the coaching/mentoring,tea/hospitality and all their support with my journey.
I very recently had the pleasure of working with Waist.it for a retro fitness shoot. Photographer Garf and studio assistant Susannah were very courteous, especially kind and respectful of boundaries with modesty comfortability with selecting outfits. We got through a lot of different outfits in the time and ended up running an hour later than planned for the all-day shoot as I think we all lost track of time and were absorbed in the colourful creative vision. They were considerate and gracious hosts of the mosts, frequently checking in with comfort in each outfit with them being style-wise very tight-fitting for the era, how I felt about trying on the different pinup style outfits for retro fitness, break, tea, and they were very accommodating and gave me some great direction and transparency about what they were looking for. I particularly enjoyed having my mum there to chaperone/makeup assistant/team up with Susannah for that woman’s eye for noticing the important details.

I had my very first studio shoot on Saturday with the lovely Garf and his wonderful wife. I had no idea what to expect and being a mature woman with no experience I was a little apprehensive. I didn’t need to worry at all - the loveliest, most hospitable people and I felt very comfortable.

I had a really positive experience and shoot with Garf yesterday. He had a very well thought out and detailed shoot plan for me. The day went super quick but we managed to get a lot done. Garf and his wife are lovely people and even gave me a spot of lunch as I forgot to bring some snacks with me. They made me feel comfortable and made sure I was okay throughout the day, I am really looking forward to the photos and working together again soon. Thank you again! Danni
Had a great shoot with waist.it at the weekend! Pre communication was great! I learned some fascinating information regarding some of the kit and props used, as well as when some of the outfits would have been used and who by! Very fun, interesting shoot and cant wait for our next one! Waist.it is very professional right down to the health safety! His wife suzie makes a absolutely wonderful lunch...Yummy! on sunday was my first photo shoot with Garf, it was a pleasure. before the photoshoot was very worried but after half an hour I was feeling very good. Thank you so much for sharing your knowlege about posing, thank you to your wife, she doing excellent job. I really like this time, I hope that we will work together again. Now I look to my body differently, I believe what I can to do more that think, Thank You for that expirience.

My first photoshoot with Garf at his home studio and I think it went very well. He and his lovely wife were super professional and easy to get along with and just chat to. Pre-comms were very detailed with messages, a phone call, and a fully detailed and personalised shoot plan. They provided an excellent range of outfits and accessories and have a very nice setup.
They both put a lot of time and effort into the shoot and I would definitely recommend working with Garf!

A few years ago I met Garf and Zsuzsi when I chaperoned my sister to a shoot and found the day whiz past full of fun. This intrigued me to what to shoot with them but unfortunately I was unwell at the time but I finally had the pleasure to have my own shoot with Garf and Zsuzsi last week. I honestly cannot explain just how lovely they are and how they made sure I was comfortable throughout the day.
As someone who is relatively new to all of this I’m glad I got to experience one of my first few shoots with them.
I’m looking forward to working on future projects with Garf and Zsuzsi! :)

I had the pleasure of working with Garfield and his lovely wife Suzzana, not only was the shoot thoroughly planned but they made me and my hubby ( who he agreed to meet as he's a professional photographer ) feel very welcomed in their studio. He was professional, had a great sense of humour and worked so hard to make our shoot a success. We created some wonderful images and he has a brilliant imagination! Cant wait to see the images, definitely and highly recommend!

Due to technical difficulties on the railway Garfield and his wife picked me up and dropped me back home ( this meant a lot to me and was of course a very sweet and lovely thing to do!)
He doesn't make you feel uncomfortable at any time if anything he makes you feel very welcomed and gives fantastic direction to models who (like me) haven't had any experience or slim to none experience in a studio before and this is exactly what I needed!
I thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, the different outfit changes and props and back drops etc, it was so much fun and due to being over an hour late to start we still crammed in a lot of enjoyable costume changes and had plenty a giggle!
I really can't wait until I do another shoot with you and I feel more confident now than I did before I did the shoot!
Practice makes perfect and in this case it definitely did... Thank you again Garfield !!

It was a big privilege to work with Garfield and Zsuzsi! They are both amazing people, they are friendly, easy to go along and very fun to work with.
I tried a lots of different outfits and I had fun with all of them. They never made me feel uncomfortable and I never did anything that I didn't want to do.
They gave me suggestions and tips with poses, especially the legs ;)

Third shoot with Garf and Zsuzsi and it was again such a wonderful experience! This time I needed clear shots of myself like headshot and full length shots that I could give to modelling agencies to apply to and I couldn't have picked the best people to work with! They were very very understanding and agreed to my request if I could shoot with them!
They helped me with my poses and facial expressions and also helped me in other areas like my shirt was baggy and couldn't show off my natural curves so they got a pin to tighten the shirt so the shirt could outline my full natural waist lines and the pictures could show the hourglass shape my body had!
Once again please please do work with them if you do the chance to since you will never regret it and you will definitely be eager to work with them again and again like I am! Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunities Garf and Zsuzsi!

I had my second shoot with Garf and Zsuzsi and it was wonderful! They got out a good amount of fashion items that I could wear and use for the shoot since the aim of the shoot was to help me get a good amount of fashion shoots for my SED-card,which it was great that they were willing to help me with!

I had my first shoot with Garf and his lovely fiancé Zsuzsi and they are extremely kind and understanding people to work with.They helped me learn more on modelling such as how to pose which was really helpful for a newbie like me and they are very understanding so if I expressed that I didn’t like a clothing and prefer not to wear it then they would immediately look for an alternative that I could wear,which is very kind and helpful of them.

I clearly cannot get enough of working with Garf and Zsuzsi! Third time shooting with waist.it and yet again only positive things to say. This time we headed down the cheeky pin-up direction and as always very light hearted and fun! I worked with Garf for my first shoot in a few years. I have inly positive stuff to say about Zsuzsi and Garf! What an amazing couple working together to make the model feel completely at ease and having a good laugh while creating some amazing shots! I will deffinately be returning to work with waist it. I had my 1st ever shoot with garf today and loved it. He took the time to explain things to me and learnt about what I wanted rather than just chucking me in front of the camera and telling me to pose. It was relaxed and fun and I felt comfortable even though I had never done photo shoots before.
Can't wait to see the pics and will definitely book another shoot. His partner suzanna was lovely and very helpful too.

Had the most amazing second shoot with Garfield and his lovely wife.
As always Garfield was fully prepared and had a shoot plan of what he wanted to achyieve and how we could achieve the set photos.
The shoot was very relaxed and I enjoyed every seconds of it.

I have just returned from an amazing day shooting with these two amazing people, it was my first ever studio shoot and all I can say is that I couldn't possibly had any better introduction than I had today. From the friendly lovely welcome I received to a hug goodbye. We worked hard and the day just flew by...... So many fantastic outfits to shoot in, so much enthusiasm and smoke and wind as well.
It was so fantastic that I booked another shoot for next month before I left.
I totally recommend that any model should shoot with such a wonderful couple, well that's if I don't book all his shoots for myself of course.
Can't wait to see the results from today and for my next shoot in August xx

Met Garf and his partner for the 1st time at his studio, which was well equip. Very lovely and friendly couple, made me feel at ease. I enjoyed the variety of costumes and the photos look great. I didn't have to wait very long for them either, which was a bonus! Thank you for making this new experience for me a positive and enjoyable one :)
My turn to play in Garfield's studio today and I have to say it is extremely well equipped with superb attention to detail and as many lighting configurations as you could ever need. Garf and Zsuzi were perfect hosts and I could have stayed many hours more.
I met Waist-it for a second time yesterday and, as previously, it was a real pleasure. Extremely enthusiastic and personable you instantly feel as if you've known him for years. His passion to create something different shines through. Zsuzi, his partner in crime, is equally lovely and knows her way around a photography set better than a lot of photographers.
I met and shot with Waist.it yesterday when on shoot with StefL. He arrived with plenty of ideas to compliment the theme, including costumes and lighting. His partner was on hand to help with costumes and to assist both photographers on set. Chatty and friendly, with a clear passion for lighting rigs and lenses, allowing a range of images to be shot. A fun shoot with everyone involved, and I would happily work with him in the future.
This is the 2nd shoot I had with Garf, & one of my first of 2014. What a way to start the year. I had a fantastic shoot, he is a great photographer, making me feel comfortable once again, we came up with some great ideas together. I would recommend Garf to any model & know that she would have just as much fun as I do.
Suszi his partner is adorable and always makes you feel comfortable, they are a lovely partnership and I love working with them both.

Just got back from a great shoot with Garfield today! We shot for 6 hours and it was well worth it. Garfield was a very nice guy. A proper gentleman and his partner Suszi was absolutely lovely and such a great help! Had a wide range of outfits to chose from which was great and I am very happy with what we achieved together and i look forward to seeing the results. I hope to work with him again soon.

This was my first shoot with Garfield, and I was highly impressed. It was not uncomfortable in any way at all, despite this being our 1st shoot together, it felt like we had worked together before.

Worked with Garfield today and it was possibly one of the best shoots I've been to. He directed wonderfully and wasn't afraid to point out where I was going wrong so we could both produce some amazing work together, but was also fantasically complimentary when I was getting it right.
He had a clear idea of what he wanted and, possibly even better, had the resources to do it. He also was happy to adapt his ideas to what I wanted and the items I brought along.
Not once did he ever suggest I go beyond my limits and was totally accepting of my request for my chaperone.
