I've been dabbling with Photography for a few years now and did a brief course on it at college (art and design, and multimedia technology and design). Recently I had some glowing feedback on some pictures I took at a friend's wedding (I wasn't the official photographer) which gave me the push to pursue it further. Mainly my work consists of landscapes and inanimate objects but I really want to do more portraiture work.
I especially enjoy portrait photography involving cosplay/steampunk, glamour, boudoir, fashion and wedding (or a combination of these) as it puts the subject(s) in situations that brings them out of ordinary life and into a sort of fantasy setting - I love capturing those pictures and bringing out the emotion and feel within them. I'm also working on building some composite skills in Photoshop so very into fantasy settings I can use in that.
I would say I'm very professional in my attitude to shoots I do, showing a great respect to the model and the people I get to work with. I'm told I have a great eye for detail and composition, plus I always love trying ideas the models and stylists bring to the shoot as well so very open to suggestions.
On the look out for anyone currently interested in TFP shoots in the Yorkshire area (newcomers to modelling/make-up artistry very welcome as happy to provide prints for your portfolios).
Oh and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. Hope 2016 brings you happiness and prosperity in all you do and I hope to be working with some of you then too!
