Hello all, I moved to Essex from Stratford, London about 9 years ago after 20 years in London, I’m 29 years old and always had a fascination with photography from an early age and wanted to learn as much as I could when I could, I studied photography for 2 years in college and covered the use of both film and digital photography and was taught to shoot, develop and print shots I took on film and use an enlarger and chemicals to reveal the image I had taken, using the dodge and burn, solarisation and double exposure methods to add a unique spin on my photographs. At the moment I consider myself a freelance photographer with an interest of aviation.

I do have a weekly Monday to Friday job so the weekend is normally when I can shoot unless I’m on standby every 5th week or if given enough warning about a shoot I can book some days off in advance to shoot.

By doing the job I currently have it has allowed me to walk every road in Clacton and surrounding areas such as Brightlingsea, Wivenhoe (up to the Uni campus), St Osyth, Walton, Frinton, Kirby, Manningtree, Mistley, Ardleigh, Wix, Harwich, Parkeston, Wrabness, Thorrington, Alresford, Gt/Lt Oakley, Gt/Lt Bentley, and anything in-between these that I may have missed, so I have a good idea to where everything is in the area.

I have done a couple of WW2 style pin up shoots, night shoots, lingerie/boudoir, Air to Air aviation shoots and some work on location with and without models to which I have enjoyed all experiences thoroughly so far, and at present I’ve not done too much model work as I have never really delved into this area of photography.

Don’t let this put you off as there is a first time for everything and I’m willing to give anything a go, please take a look at my work for what I have captured so far to get an idea of what we could achieve.

I have some WW2 memorabilia, such as flying helmets, soldier steel helmets, and a variety of guitars that includes Fender Stratocasters, Gretsch 5622, Tiger acoustic, 2x Rickenbackers, one being an original from 1965, Höfner Cavern Bass and a few other Strat style guitars in different colours, also a small Vox Pathfinder 10/Marshall amp, I can use these in some shoots if needed, I do play the guitars also.

I love anything vintage/retro and timed between the 1940’s and 1960’s which ties in with my interest in photography and my taste in music with, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Dave Clark Five etc.
