Being bullied as an adolescent for not fitting the skinny girl images was one of the most challenging times in my life. At 47, as a Latina from Washington Heights, I can finally say that what makes you beautiful is what you do for people and how you present yourself. For health reasons after battling with weight and being a hall of fame yo-yo dieter, I admitted that weight loss surgery would probably be of assistance. Exactly nine years and six days later I am no longer that 295 Lund woman who loss her self worth. I have done several fashion shows in between yo yo abilities. I love styling myself and others and am a quick learner. I am thankful that the world of modeling, now mor than ever, wants the world to know that everyone matters. Handicapped, not so fit, tall, short, plus size, elderly, babies, Latinos, caucasians, African Americans, Asians... maybe I can be a voice of support for that bullied child or person who thinks they must fit the standards of others.... everyone is beautiful... would love to embrace my passion for the camera and fashion .... what a combination ? ?
