My name is John Harrington, and have been taking photographs now for many years , members of my family, friends and relations, have all benefited from my efforts and like most photographers it starts off as a hobby and then gets into your soul,

I guess you could say I am an advanced amateur portrait photographer, as I am now retired and no longer need to do this for a living, I have undertaken many photo shoots both in Studio and on location, as well as the occasional home visit, which are rare now, as I have my own fully equipped home studio( a converted detached garage) here in the seaside town of Herne Bay. My love is portraiture, glamour/boudoir , and fashion my quest to bring to the surface the beauty within, giving self esteem to my clients regardless of age or dress size. in my free time, I am happy to mentor and work with new models just starting out, that need images for their ports on a TFP basis I believe that these arrangements should be of mutual benefit, I would offer honest advice rather than just lip service , in 2019 I was invited to joined other photographers in the "Pit" of the "Top Model Awards" at the Alma Hotel  London, this was a memorable experience !!  

But hey ! I never stop learning, and am still blown away by that ordinary plain shy amateur that steps in front of the camera for the first time and with the right direction, and correct lighting is simply stunning !!
