I had the absolute delight, honour and privilege to work with Marisa today in my boutique studio for her first-ever studio shoot.
Her pre-coms were excellent, even though we had to delay our initial booking (due to Tier 4 COVID-19 restrictions) to the first day after Christmas. Marisa arrived early with three suitcases of outfits, and I think she managed to use all of them all over the duration of our shoot together. Her husband Gee, was a total delight and so helpful and encouraging and I know Marisa would agree with me, he was such a positive influence during the entire shoot which definitely affected the outstanding images we were able to create.
And, in reference to her two young sons, I have never seen two more impeccably behaved and patient children in my life. They kept themselves entertained, nourished and watered during the five-hours they were here in the studio and not a single 'moan' was uttered. Rocky the studio cat made two new friends and he also helped keep them entertained.
Marisa is stunning. A complete and a total delight. Funny, creative, accommodating and a really great model with an obvious flair for modelling. It's almost as if she's hard-wired to do this.
You would not believe this was her first professional shoot. She exudes charm, she knows exactly how to create a look and is completely flexible to instructions (hardly ever needed btw) to help you get the shot.
And I know she's coming back here again, and probably again and again and again.
Working within her levels you cannot and will not find a more professional, able, stunningly and beautiful, friendly model.
I was actually really quite sad when they all left. Rocky was too, but he got over it real quick when tuna suddenly appeared in his bowl :)
Thank you Marisa (and Gee). What a fantastic way to end a totally crap year, but to be honest, as far as models I have worked with this year, it's definitely been the best year ever.
