Hi, i'm an amateur photographer bases Glasgow and working mainly in the Western Highlands of Scotland. I have been a photographer since approximately 1985. Most of my early work was landscape orientated, preferably people in a landscape. I have done a lot of sports photography, mainly mountain or extreme sports; rock climbers (preferably falling), skiers, mountain bikers, base jumpers etc.

I had a gap in photography for several years before my enthusiasm came back in approximately 2012. More recently, however, I have become more interested in bringing the person in the photograph more to the fore with the location accentuating them rather than the other way around which is what I had previously done.

Looking towards the future I will continue with this type of photography but would also like to move into more traditional portraiture, possibly some special effects, boudoir, nude and probably anything else that might be suggested to me. Just really wanting to become a more rounded photographer and develop my skill in as many genres as possible.
