Deago Garcia – a mix of lyrical, electro, psychedelic and hip hop, tossed into a blender and turned on high.

Deago Garcia is currently working on a digital EP, which cultivates a deeply personal effort that resonates with reflection, redemption and renewal. Deago Garcia with his sense of self in an art form that is reflective of the moment. Garcia is ready to bring an eccentric, quirky and electrifying feel to music, which is starting to materialize. Deago Garcia, a vocalist and performer is ready to inspire people with his music and gain global recognition.



Garcia, previously was part of a group called, The Abstrakt. Introduced to music by his elder brother and sister by watching MTV shows and listening to different types of music, by the age of 13, he was into hip-hop, reggee, bashment, club anthems and pop, later evolving and listening to garage. He then started being lyrical to drum and bass music under the name ‘Scorcher D’, also performing with DJ black Jack on a few occasions. He peaked at college when he entered a choice fm competition and came second, he also auditioned for two other talent competitions. Buzzing with lots of determination and music that people clearly enjoyed, he started performing in college, at house parties, on fm stations and internet radio stations.



Deago Garcia is no stranger to the stage and has performed at a number of other venues including Scream lounge, Juju bar, Half Moon in Putney, Opal and Metropolitan University and has always received wonderful and encouraging reviews. People enjoy and like what they hear and Deago Gracia is ready to show the world more.



Deago Garcia’s main musical influences are Tupac Shakur, Snopp Dogg, Kayne West, Madonna, Lil Wayne, Taio Cruz and Latino rap. He also gets a lot of inspiration from films (mainly true stories) and books such as lyrical ballards. Deago Gracia is versatile in his taste of music and enjoys anything that sounds good, also enjoying rock music to which he is a subscriber of kerrang and rolling stones magazine, also taking an interest in drums, harmonica, electric guitar, acoustic, string and brass instruments and theremin.
