Paul Callaby Photography

Hi all,

    I'm Paul and I am a semi retired professional photographer with over 35 years experience. I'm based in Mundford in South Norfolk.

    I started my professional photography career way back in 1983 photographing at that time weddings as a part time business, then in 1987 I went full time as a wedding and portrait photographer. This carried on until about 1990 when I started to branch out and do some photo-journalistic work for a couple of custom bike magazines.

    Then in 1992 I had a quite bad motorcycle accident which put me in hospital for about a month and left me on crutches for about a year. It was during this time that I found a new interest in photography, which was the whole tattoo and body mod industry and in 1993 I started out in a whole new direction in photography , that of the tattoo world, which was a much more closed and tight knit community than it is today. I then spent the next 17 or so years working in that industry and I worked freelance for the British Tattoo magazine Skin Deep from issue one until about 2010.

    I also had my work published in a whole host of other titles worldwide as well as 5 books and numerous other things.

    After taking a break from photography for a few years I'm now back and looking to work with people who'd like to collaborate to make some hopefully  artistic, interesting and different imagery.
