Princess Elektra

Well, Elektra and I have now shot together on numerous occasions. And without any doubt we will continue too.
This time I joined Elektra on her studio night held at JB Studios, Benfleet, Essex. (Details available here on PP)
As always her communications prior to the shoot were faultless.
I suggested that we did a mix of 2 themes during our time on the night.
The first, a smart modern, but edgy fashion shoot and the next, our own take on the character Sandy form the Movie Grease.
What can I say, Elektra, picked up quickly on the ideas and just ran with both of them.
She was wonderful as Sandy. That mixture of a feminine but with that slight domination look as seen in the final stages of the film.
Just brilliant it really was. Such a fun shoot, not too serious and through both sets, Elektra just flow posed through it all with ease.
Elektra over recent years has proven to be a true, trusted and fun close friend. I feel very lucky to have developed such a bond with her and every time we work together I am grateful for.
So, if your looking for a model who has fun doing what she does, capable of doing so many styles and themes, comes prepared, ready to go for it from the start and have great images following the shoot, then look no further. Great for the novice and the experienced photographer.

Another shoot with Lou and as ever we had a great time creating memories. A hotel shoot over a longer period gave us the chance to chill and chat whilst also capturing great images. I have spoken so many times about Lou's skills as a model and do not see the need to repeat that so all previous comments apply to this shoot.

We did shoot a mixture of fashion, lingerie and levels and had a laugh. We work and socialise together so a shoot is always a great opportunity to catch up.

We have spoken about our next shoot which weather permitting, will be something different, but working with Lou is never samey!

Highly recommended to all photographers - newbies to experienced! You won't be disappointed.

Another fabulous experience and shoot with Elektra. ?We have become very close friends over the last three years shooting together and I value that so much.
We stay in touch via text at least once or twice a week which I truly value. She has stepped up when I’ve needed help and also helped with other models I shoot with. Her ideas and imagination is always something that impresses me.
?This was quite a late notice shoot, but we followed on from the last shoot we had together and it just flowed so well and before we new it the 4 hours I had available was over.

We have concentrated our last few shoots on the Boudoir Styles and it has been so rewarding and fun at the same time. ?As always, we communicate frequently prior to any shoot, sharing mood-boards and ideas right up to the night before.

This last shoot was at her home and it went so well. A number of outfit changes and playing with lots of different lighting effects. Some natural light and some speedlite experiments. Elektra is so attentive and willing to try anything. Her patience and commitment to drive and get just the best shots from the day is amazing.

So once again I advise you, that if you have never worked with Elektra then you are truly missing out. ?Get that email written and get those lines of communication open.
I must stress that Elektra is as good for the experienced photographers as well as the beginners/novices out there.
You really couldn’t ask for more!

Elektra and I shoot regularly (as you may have noticed) and we try to do different things and this was no exception. Shooting at a new (to us) studio this was with Elektra's teenage daughter Amber and our good friend photographer Paul Spencer. The studio (Aztec) has not yet got a portfolio but we enjoyed a few hours there. I shot with Elektra and with Amber and we finished with some mother daughter shots. The shoot worked really well and we captured some great images. There were some fun ones at the end. A good time was had by all and I am now enjoying the editing.
Of course I recommend Elektra to others and I think Elektra is hoping Amber may be able to shoot with other photographers too. She is 16 next month and already confident in front of the camera.

What better way to kick off my first shoot of the new year than with the delightful Elektra.
Despite traffic problems, Elektra arrived on time and after the usual cup of tea & catch up, it was down to business. Although having shot together many times before, Elektra never fails to disappoint with her selection of outfits and fresh ideas for making the shoot a success. Always interested in how the images are working out, Elektra is very professional, competent model and receptive to any direction given. The 3 hour shoot went much too quickly.
I have no hesitation in recommending Elektra to other photographers.

Another great shoot with Elektra at JB Studios in Benfleet. The theme was the 50s and as ever Elektra had a choice of outfits. We opted for a stunning red vintage dress and as ever created great images. Posing with confidence and as always a sense of cheekiness, we had fun too. Elektra works hard to create great images and as always our time together passed too quickly but I did have the pleasure of driving her home after so extra time to chat and plan our next shoot! Highly recommended to photographers of all levels.

One more shoot with Lou and just as good as ever.

When I started out she was one of my earlier models and scared the wits out of me - my issue, not hers.

Anyway we must have shot a dozen times since so something clearly works.

Absolutely lovely lady, engages 100%, adds her own input, poses really well and the time just flies by which is always a good sign.

Several sets done today and thoroughly enjoyable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

We have been working together for several years now - having just completed our 25th shoot together - that says it all. I cannot recommend Elektra enough, she is a star and gives 110% on every shoot. book her now - you won't regret.

So hard to fit everything in this little box. Why?
Because this lady brings so much to a shoot.

An outstanding model it’s that simple!
I will point out this was not our first shoot and that we have worked together on a number of occasion over the last 3 years.
Why? Simple, this Princess brings everything to the ball, every time.

Fabulous communications before and after the shoot.
Always well prepared and waiting to shoot on arrival.
Open to new and different ideas and speaks up ... which I find is just the best thing.

No rushing around and makes things so relaxed.
I'm quite a slow shooter compared to many. Which once again isn’t a problem for this lady.
I talk and I mean, a lot, I like to discuss our options before and during the shoot very much.
Elektra as always, was so patience with me.
Got to love her for that alone.

Get a date in your diary with her really soon because this Princess is always very busy and you shouldn’t miss the chance if it’s there!

Yet another of many shoots with the delightful Elektra. As always, Elektra arrived on time with a big smile and a case full of outfits.
After the traditional tea and catch up (& play with the dog), it was down to business. Always full of ideas, working with Elektra is so easy, making the photographer's job a simple joy. Elektra always gives a lot of thought to the style of shoot and with outfits to match, the three hours booked for the shoot passed much too quickly.
Always interested in how the images are working out and offering suggestions, Elektra puts in 100% effort to ensure that the shoot is a success.
As always, I have no hesitation in recommending Elektra to other photographers.
