I am a very experienced photographer and have worked in many commercial studio environments over the last thirty years. I have also worked extensively in travel photography, shooting primarily in Europe, but also South East Asia and South America.
I recently decided to return to a full time, formal study of photography, as up until now I had been completely self-trained...Full time study is giving me the opportunity to investigate styles and methods that I never had the time to pursue when shooting commercially.
I am currently part way through a BA Photography course in the West Midlands, and intend to continue with both MA, and PhD courses.
I am currently concentrating on portraiture, producing a portfolio of work which ranges from formal/classical styles in both studio and location settings, to high key, studio based fashion portraiture.
Models looking to work in return for superior images to enhance their own portfolio should get in touch...I would prefer to work with experienced people, but new models, with an interesting look, and a real enthusiasm and desire to produce a striking and varied portfolio should also contact me.
As well as a small home based studio, I have full access to a state of the art, purpose built, drive-in studio with both black and white full height scoops, separate installation studio, full height multi-roll flat-back studio, and model changing rooms,
In the first instance I expect models to manage their own hair and make-up, but for subsequent shoots. will engage stylists when necessary.
90% of the time, I work in medium format film as opposed to digital, but I always provide models with their own selection of high resolution, fully retouched and optimized digital images.
