Hi, I'm Michael. I've been taking photos for around 40 years. Mainly landscapes - a skill I'm trying to translate into photographing the human body. I have a fascination for light and shapes. That's why I shoot mainly black and white; I think monochrome complements the shapes and tones of the body much better than colour.

I'd like to create works of art - I'm not quite there yet but trying very hard! Keep trying, keep practising and who knows...

A highly professional person, I try to treat everyone I meet equally and with respect - I expect the same in return. I'm a great believer that politeness and good manners go a long way.

I have no interest in doing professional work. This, to me, is a hobby. Something I can enjoy and be creative at the same time. One day I hope to produce a masterpiece, but until then I want to do the best I can and enjoy the journey.
