The Mill

This was Jules' and my first studio shoot and what an amazing place it is too. We were welcomed by David and his wife and chatted over a cuppa before we got down to work and David couldn't have been more helpful, especially as I suffered a fractured foot a couple days ago and am resigned to hobbling around on crutches and a ski boot.
David showd us around and told us where everything was and we didn't see him again until our rather quick 4 hours was up and we went to pay.
There is an abundance of wonderful sets and David has put alot of effort into building this up from scratch and paying every attention to every detail, for instance real sweets in the candy store, gumballs in the American diner and real beer in the bar! Wonderful stuff.
We went from hayloft, bar/pub, American diner, candy store and boutique and finishing up in the gothic style room with coffin, skeletons and other spooky stuff.
There is a whole selection of lighting available to use amongst lots of other props.
It really is a great place to shoot at, our only problem was that we ran out of time too quickly, but no doubt we will return again.
I would highly recommend this studio to any photographer, its got the lot and at very reasonable rates and David is a real lovely chap.

Modelled for Photocurve at The Mill yesterday - WOW - loved it! So many sets and it is huge!
Loved being in a sort of "time machine" with all the beautiful sets and accessories.
The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble.
From a models perspective, I recommend The Mill and hope to shoot there again.

Did my first shoot here a few months back and forgot to leave a reference. Absolutely fantastic place with many varied and imaginative sets. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful. I only wish it was a bit closer to me!

I am a model and a photographer I went to the mill for the first time it was a distance but when I got there wow it was great loads of sets to choose from great host friendly people would recommend this studio well worth the travel thankyou Susan

Was at the studio before the tier updates, was anti bec and social distancing in place. Really great space with lots of different locations to create shots in. Looking forward to shooting there again and see what other creative areas are available.

Great new studio, loads of space, loads of sets, great open spaces, indoors, outdoors, antique tractor, fountain, the list is almost endless and some area's are still being developed.

Had a great first shoot their, and have already booked another shoot for later this month.
