I have been shooting in many genres for longer than I care to remember, sport and in particular Para Sports, aviation of all sorts, motorsports, landscapes, architecture, to name a few. I started taking my photography more seriously in 1998, after an illness meant that I had to give up a career in the world of aviation, which even now remains a favorite subject for my photography.
My usual preferred shooting styles are portraiture, fashion and glamour. I am much prefer tasteful and sophisticated teasing type shots that leave the viewer wanting more, rather than gratuitous images that leave little to the imagination. I regularily source models for catalogue work and various photographic workshops.
I am slightly disabled, so I don't do shoots halfway up the north face of the Eiger, even if some of my compatriots do. I usually prefer a warm studio or a location on a sunny day, but definitely not too far from a kettle!
