Hello. I am Ian, 41, and I am making the transition from digital art to photography. I want to use the skills I have acquired over many years as an artist to support my journey as a developing photographer. I have experience in family portraiture but, coming from an art background, I am really interested in fine art and artistic nude. I especially want to work with 'newcomer' models and will work for free in order to enhance my portfolio and gain experience. This arrangement would be mutually beneficial for newcomer models too.

Oh, and just to spice things up....I should probably mention that I am visually impaired. Oh the irony of doing and being good at things that are very challenging eh? I do not let my disability get in the way of my work and in many ways I think it makes me plan better and be more attentive to detail and error. My sight problems allow me to see the world in a unique way and challenges me to be more creative.
