I have been into photography for many years now.
I started in a serious way when I got made redundant in 1980 and set up a small freelance doing weddings and baby
shoots. At the time I was using a fairly cheap SLR.
A number of years later, when my grandaughter came along I invested in a Canon A1 and a portable lighting set up.Some of the photographs I took of her are amongst my favourites today!!
Very soon it became too expensive and didnt want to lug all the gear round on holidays so I sold up and bought the best compact I could afford. But alas if its in your blood then you have to return.
I then bought the camera I use today a Canon EOS 5D with a 75-300mm lens.I very soon bought a wider angle Zoom as the bigger lens was very limiting when I went out.
About 12 months ago I started ,taking it very seriously as I had to streamline my numerous hobbies down because I was becoming a Jack of all trades ,master of
none.So photography won!!!
I have now converted my garage into a studio and have done some very successful shoots.I am studying hard with Photoshop Elements 9 before I move on to the more powerful CS5.
Latest purchase is a Bowens light studio set and a Canon 70-200usm II fantastic lens and have just doubled the size of my studio.
Looking for models and MUA,s to work with on a TFP basis.
