Just a thought for you all. When expressing a robust opinion in the forum and some of the more experienced members query your actual photographic experience vs that stated in your profile, it's a really good idea to ensure the images in your Port are actually your own.
Like: you didn't steal them off the web. And write that you have xx years of professional experience.
Because here's a shocker for you: those of us who really DO have 'xx years of professional photographic experience' can tell. Wow! Fancy that. Who'd have guessed?
The site allows for two non-modelling images to start your port, there are literally 100s of models with fantastically reasonable rates (and yes: if you're a novice you WILL have to pay a model... Get over it), so there's really no excuse. Within 3 months you should have figured out enough to organise a shoot and get some modelling images up.
If not, why are you here?
While we welcome opinions of novices and even non-creatives (I don't need to be a 5 Star Michelin chef to know a good meal when I eat it after all), it does you no good claiming experience you don't possess... It may even speak to more sinister motives regarding the hoodwinking of inexperienced models for 'nefarious purposes'...
Don't do it. The penalty is immediate and permanent banning. You've been warned.
