I've actually done two shoots with the lovely Mave D - AKA "Little Witch". 2022-07-07 and 2022-09-17. Both times she arrived at my studio with a large suitcase packed with outfits and props just in case they were needed. She was chaperoned by her B/F Niall, who would definitely be a finalist in the “Nicest Chaperone of the Year” award, if such a contest existed.
Usually she classes herself as an “alternative” model. But she does the "vintage" thing rather well too. In fact she has all the physical features needed to shoot retro pinup. This includes her delightful smile, her petite figure, long, long legs, tiny tucked-in tummy and her corset-friendly concave waist. She is also a highly intelligent woman who is keen to learn and try new ideas. She also brings a lot of her own ideas to the table too. She is indeed a very versatile, adaptable and hard-working model.
So we filmed her doing some old-style fitness routines, whilst modelling some vintage figure-shaping swimwear, girdles and corsets. It was all designed to show-off her classic hourglass vintage shape. It worked too – beautifully!
All-in-all, she is a lovely model, a lovely person and highly recommended.
